Bonnie Montgomery
is the classically-trained, 2016 Ameripolitan Outlaw Female of the Year and just released her critically acclaimed album, Forever. Upon first listening to Montgomery, it’s easy to assume that you’ve stumbled upon a legend in-the-making. Winner of 2018 Arkansas Female Vocalist of the Year and Americana/Roots Artist of the Year, she presents her stories in a folk/bluegrass/country perspective that’s both traditional and timeless yet distinct and original.
Summer Dean
is as authentic as they come. Recently nominated as Ameripolitan Outlaw Female of the year, this Texas native can put on a live performance like no other; sharing the stage with country greats such as Dale Watson, to making her SXSW debut this year in Austin. She has raw lyrics, a bare-boned and honest voice, and an approachable confidence evident on any stage, from the honky tonks to the theaters alike.
Andrea Colburn
is another 2018 Ameripolitan Outlaw Female nominee. Her partner in crime, Mud Moseley, play their own brand of country music, Surf Western. The Atlanta-based duo take the Honky Tonk music we all know and love and infuse it with sleazy, greasy lyrics and tones (and the occasional singing saw) that would easily narrate your favorite 60’s horror film. Part Johnny and June, part Sid and Nancy, you just can’t take your eyes or ears off this intriguing duo.
